Premio Bindi 2026 to air on Rai 3

The 22nd edition of the Premio Bindi 2026 will be broadcast on Rai 3 on Friday, August 21, at 11:40 PM. Recorded at the Anfiteatro Umberto Bindi in Santa Margherita Ligure, the event honors the legacy of the legendary Italian singer-songwriter Umberto Bindi while highlighting new musical talent.

Hosted by Chiara Buratti and Claudio Guerrini, the program features several award recipients and special mentions. Levante will receive the “Lasciatemi sognare” special mention for singer-songwriters, while Maurizio Carucci receives the same recognition in the Author category. Other honorees include Sayf, who receives the “Il mio mondo” special mention, Pierdavide Carone, recipient of the “Futura” prize, and Matteo Alieno, who will be awarded the Premio Bindi New Generation 2026.

A central component of the evening is a contest for emerging talent, featuring eight finalists: Davide Amati, Diletta Calicanto, Emsaisi, Gabriele Spira, Matteo Salzano, Matteo Trapanese, Pit, and Sofia Ara. These artists will perform their own works and offer new interpretations of Bindi’s classic repertoire.
