Premio Castello 2026 to integrate painting, music, and theater in Crotone

The fourth edition of the Premio Castello, a national contemporary painting competition organized by Associazione Multitracce APS, will take place at Castello Carlo V in Crotone from September 18 to October 11, 2026. Supported by the Municipality of Crotone and the Calabria Region, this year’s event expands beyond visual arts to include music, theater, dance, and technology.

The theme for the 2026 edition is ‘Note di Colore – Incontro tra arti pittoriche e musicali’ (Notes of Color – Encounter between pictorial and musical arts). The program features a collective exhibition of works by thirty finalist artists, alongside various cultural activities including theater performances, creative workshops for children, talks on Magna Graecia, and sustainable mobility initiatives such as a organized cycling event.

The festivities will conclude at the Vincenzo Scaramuzza Municipal Theater with a performance by the De Creation Crew.
