Premio Gentile da Fabriano honors Cardinal Matteo Zuppi

The 30th edition of the Premio Gentile da Fabriano concluded with a ceremony at the Oratorio della Carità, focusing on the theme ‘Le nuove frontiere dell’umano’ (The new frontiers of the human). The event was hosted by journalist Giorgia Cardinaletti.

Cardinal Matteo Maria Zuppi, President of the Italian Episcopal Conference, received a special recognition from the jury. Other notable award recipients include immunologist Alberto Mantovani for the ‘Vite di italiani’ section, scientist Barbara Mazzolai for ‘Scienza, salute e ambiente’, and economist Daniele Franco for ‘Economia, lavoro e innovazione’. Director Marco Tullio Giordana received the ‘Carlo Bo for culture and communication’ award, while photographer Monika Bulaj won the ‘Mario Giacomelli’ prize for contemporary photography.

The ceremony also featured a photographic exhibition dedicated to the memory of Senator Carlo Bo, one of the award's founders.
