Premio Mitos honors social commitment and legality in Diamante

The Premio Mitos ceremony, held in Diamante, Calabria, recognized various individuals and organizations for their commitment to legality, social engagement, and volunteering. The award, named in honor of Carabinieri Luca Sena, aims to promote a culture of legality inspired by Giovanni Falcone and Paolo Borsellino.

Among the recipients was the Lega Nazionale Dilettanti (LND), which received multiple awards for its social and educational work in amateur and youth sports. Notable attendees included Minister for Public Administration Paolo Zangrillo and various regional and parliamentary figures.

Following the event, the local Agesci ‘Diamante 1’ scout group expressed disappointment regarding their lack of invitation to the ceremony. While the group stated they were not seeking an award themselves, they criticized the local administration for failing to involve local volunteers in a public event that celebrated the values of scouting.
