Premios Pinti theatre awards debut in Buenos Aires, hosted by Agustín Aristarán

The Asociación Argentina de Empresarios Teatrales y Musicales (AADET) has launched the Premios Pinti, a new ceremony to honour the best of Argentine commercial theatre. Named after actor and humorist Enrique Pinti, the awards will present 19 official categories plus special recognitions such as Trajectory, Spectacle of the Year and a public‑voted Favourite. Nominations are selected by an independent jury of 25 cultural figures, while the public can vote for the Favourite through a digital platform until 23 July.

The inaugural ceremony will take place on Monday 27 July 2026 at the historic Teatro Colón in Buenos Aires. It will be presented by Agustín “Rada’’ Aristarán, a magician, comedian, musician and actor, who also received a nomination for Best Musical Performer. The event will be broadcast live on the television channel El Trece and streamed online via the channel’s website and partner apps.
