Premium Bandai announces new Gundam and Super Robot Wars merchandise

Premium Bandai has announced several new product releases and re-releases for various anime franchises, including Gundam and Super Robot Wars.

For the Gundam series, STRICT-G is launching four types of ripstop jackets inspired by ‘Mobile Suit Gundam: Char’s Counterattack’ and ‘Mobile Suit Gundam SEED’. These include models based on Amuro Ray, Char Aznable, and the Earth Alliance and Z.A.F.T. forces. Additionally, three HG 1/144 scale Gunpla kits from ‘Gundam SEED FREEDOM’ are scheduled for re-release in December 2026.

In the collector and model kit sector, the ‘METAL ROBOT Damashii (Ka signature)’ is holding a lottery sale for the ‘Reinforced ZZ Gundam’ to commemorate the 40th anniversary of ‘Mobile Suit Gundam ZZ’. Furthermore, the ‘Super Robot Wars OG’ franchise is seeing the re-release of high-end ‘SMP [Shokugan Modeling Project]’ kits, specifically the Astragant and the R-GUN Rivale & Wilt Schwein set, both available through Premium Bandai in October.
