Premium mooncake market enters season in Vietnam

The premium mooncake market in Vietnam is entering its peak season, featuring high-end products with prices ranging from hundreds of thousands to millions of Vietnamese dong per box. These luxury items distinguish themselves through expensive ingredients, elaborate packaging, and unique brand stories.

One notable offering is the Metropole Hanoi’s limited edition lacquerware collection, released to commemorate the hotel’s 125th anniversary. Developed in collaboration with the Bat Trang Museum Atelier, the collection includes six mooncakes, specialty teas, and a unique heritage plate. Each plate is handcrafted using traditional glazing techniques, making every piece a one-of-a-kind item.
