Regional emergency reports: Fatal accident in Kraljevo and various rescue operations
A series of emergency incidents and rescue operations have been reported across the region. In Kraljevo, Serbia, a fatal traffic accident occurred when a vehicle veered off the road and struck pedestrians on a sidewalk. A five-year-old girl passed away at the University Children's Clinic Tiršova in Belgrade, while her one-and-a-half-year-old sibling and mother sustained serious injuries.
In Bosnia and Herzegovina, a mountain rescue operation on Prenj was successful after Dr. Pamela Bejdić performed life-saving resuscitation on a hiker suffering a heart attack before the GSS Prenj medical team arrived. The patient was subsequently transported to Konjic.
In Croatia, rescue teams successfully located a man on a jet ski near Čiovo after he went missing during a night excursion; he was found alive but hypothermic. Additionally, a helicopter-assisted rescue by HGSS and the MUP was conducted on Dinara to evacuate a foreign national with head injuries. Other maritime incidents included a boat collision near Kaprije and various fire interventions in the Split-Dalmatia county.
