Preschool Education Symposium Opens in Međimurje

The two-day professional gathering, Days of Preschool Education, opened on October 12 at Terme Sveti Martin. Organized by the Cvrčak Kindergarten in Čakovec and the Faculty of Teacher Education at the University of Zagreb, the event has been held for over three decades.

Under the theme ‘Growing Together through Wellbeing and Support,’ the symposium brings together preschool experts for plenary discussions and workshops. Matea Pintarić, director of Cvrčak Kindergarten, emphasized that preschool is a critical stage for discovery and social development. Professor Adrijana Višnjić Jevtić highlighted the long-standing cooperation between the Faculty of Teacher Education in Čakovec and local kindergartens since 1975.

Međimurje County Prefect Matija Posavec expressed strong support for the development of preschool education, noting its importance for building healthy communities and shaping the future of society.
