Presco Plc approves ₦17.1 billion dividend following record 2025 performance

Agro-industrial firm Presco Plc reported record financial performance for the 2025 fiscal year during its 33rd Annual General Meeting. The company saw revenue rise 59.3% to ₦330.6 billion, while profit after tax increased 56.1% to ₦121.4 billion.

Shareholders approved a final dividend payout of ₦17.1 billion, representing ₦14.66 per 50 kobo share. This brings the total dividend for the 2025 financial year to ₦44.66 per share. The company also noted that a ₦236.7 billion rights issue significantly strengthened its balance sheet, doubling total equity to ₦442.7 billion.

During the meeting, several board changes were finalized. Shareholders re-elected three existing directors and elected three new members, including Ademola Adebise, Adewale Arikawe, and Francois Van Hoydonck. KPMG was authorized to continue as the company’s independent auditor for the 2026 financial year. The company is currently focused on integrating operations across Nigeria and Ghana to build scale and efficiency.
