Presidency of Defence Industries launches Human Management Maturity Model

The Presidency of Defence Industries (SSB) has launched evaluator training for the Human Management Maturity Model (İYOM). This model was developed with the contributions of 90 human management experts from 36 defense industry companies to measure and improve human resource competencies within the sector's ecosystem.

Haluk Görgün, President of the SSB, stated that the goal of İYOM is not merely to assign scores to companies, but to help them accurately identify their current capacities, leverage strengths, and clearly define areas for development. He emphasized that the model aims to prepare institutions for future needs by understanding their present capabilities.

Görgün highlighted that rapid technological shifts in fields such as artificial intelligence, autonomous systems, and space technology are reshaping professions and required skills. He noted that according to the World Economic Forum, many core competencies are expected to change by 2030, and addressing the talent and skill gap is critical for corporate transformation.
