President Abbas breaks ground on Creativity and Excellence Complex

President Mahmoud Abbas laid the foundation stone for the Creativity and Excellence Complex in Sarda, north of Ramallah. The project is managed by the Supreme Council for Creativity and Excellence and is located near the National Library.

The ceremony included Prime Minister Mohammad Mustafa, Supreme Council President Adnan Samara, and various national leaders, Fatah Central Committee members, and diplomatic representatives. President Abbas noted that the institution, established in 2012, aims to discover and nurture Palestinian talent in fields such as agriculture, industry, education, and technology.

Adnan Samara described the complex as an integrated environment designed to support researchers, innovators, and entrepreneurs. The facility is structured around three main components inspired by a ship design: ‘Knowledge Anchor’ for research and laboratories, ‘Creativity Bridge’ for workspaces and networking, and ‘Excellence Helm’ for administrative coordination. The goal is to transform scientific research into tangible economic and social impact.
