President Abelardo de la Espriella to visit Ibagué and Montería

President Abelardo de la Espriella is scheduled to conduct regional visits in Colombia to discuss the National Development Plan and local projects.

On October 9, the President will visit Ibagué, Tolima. Announced by Governor Adriana Magali Matiz, the visit will include representatives from the departments of Huila, Putumayo, and Caquetá to define national investment lines. A key topic includes a proposal to transform the Conservatorio del Tolima into a University of Music within the National Development Plan.

Additionally, the President is expected to visit his hometown of Montería. Mayor Hugo Kerguelén García and local security forces are coordinating safety measures for the visit. The President is expected to make joint announcements with the municipal administration, following previous discussions regarding regional infrastructure and housing needs.
