President Aleksandar Vucic promises major Serbian aid to Jezero municipality in Republika Srpska

President Aleksandar Vucic visited the municipality of Jezero in Republika Srpska and announced that Serbia will provide significant assistance, exceeding the help the community has received so far. He said the aid could include opening a small plant to employ women and other projects that will benefit local residents.

Vucic said he received requests from mayor Snezana Ruzicic for reconstruction of the town square, school, cultural pavilion and for solutions to a housing problem affecting families living in a dilapidated building designated as a national monument. He visited a single‑father family, Dragana Palalić, with four children, and discussed building new housing or a small complex for them. The visit is part of a week‑long tour of Serbian‑populated areas in Bosnia and Herzegovina, during which he also visited monasteries and other municipalities and will attend a commemoration of victims of the 1995 Operation Storm (“Oluja”) in Mrkonjic Grad.
