President De La Espriella announces earthquake relief in Risaralda

President Abelardo De La Espriella visited Pereira to oversee recovery efforts following the earthquake on August 10. During the visit, the President announced the implementation of 300 subsidies intended for housing rehabilitation in Pereira and Dosquebradas to assist families whose homes were damaged.

In addition to housing aid, the President detailed economic recovery measures, noting that 4,600,150 million pesos are earmarked for the economic reactivation of Pereira and the Risaralda region. During his address, De La Espriella engaged in a lighthearted exchange with the Mayor of Dosquebradas, Roberto Jiménez Naranjo, commenting on the mayor's serious expression while discussing the government's solutions for the affected municipalities.
