President Droupadi Murmu to visit Odisha, including Maa Kandhuni Devi Temple, Aug 3‑5

President Droupadi Murmu will travel to Odisha from 3 to 5 August 2026. She will depart New Delhi by special aircraft, land at Bhubaneswar Airport and attend an inauguration at Jagadguru Kripalu University in Kataka district. On 4 August she will ride a special train to Brahmapur, visit Taptapani hot springs and offer prayers at the Maa Kandhuni Devi Temple in Ganjam district, where a sapling will be planted. The itinerary ends on 5 August with a return train to Bhubaneswar and a flight back to New Delhi.

State officials have coordinated extensive security, traffic, medical and fire‑safety arrangements. District teams are cleaning temple premises, repairing approach roads, upgrading power supply and launching a Swachh Bharat cleanliness drive to ensure a smooth, incident‑free programme.
