President Duma Boko launches initiative for 100 schools and clinics

President Duma Boko has officially launched the Duma Boko School in Block 7, Gaborone, signaling the start of a national initiative to deliver 100 schools and clinics across Botswana.

The project utilizes a new model for social infrastructure that combines private capital, rapid construction technologies, and local manufacturing with government facilitation. This approach aims to accelerate the delivery of essential services without placing the full construction burden on the public treasury.

During the launch, President Boko emphasized the importance of creating safe environments for children to learn and play, stating, “Let the children be children. Leave the difficult things to the adults.” The initiative is designed to address the country’s infrastructure needs through strategic partnerships between the state and the private sector.
