President el-Sisi holds expanded meeting on national stability and water security

President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi held an expanded meeting at the Strategic Command headquarters in the New Capital, involving government ministers, governors, military and police leaders, and village elders (omda and sheikhs). The meeting focused on maintaining domestic stability, strengthening trust in state institutions, and addressing national challenges.

During the discussions, President el-Sisi emphasized the importance of protecting Egypt's internal front against rumors and attempts to undermine the state, particularly via social media. He highlighted the need for efficient resource management and improved public services, specifically in education, health, and transportation.

Regarding regional issues, the President addressed the Ethiopian dam dispute, stating that while diplomacy remains Egypt's preferred path, it will not come at the expense of the nation's existence or its water security. He also touched upon regional tensions in the Middle East and the importance of technological advancement and artificial intelligence in national development.
