President Emomali Rahmon inaugurates new infrastructure in Danghara
President Emomali Rahmon has inaugurated several new industrial and social infrastructure projects in the Danghara district of Tajikistan.
Among the new developments is an oil processing plant in the village of Shahbur. Built by local entrepreneurs using imported technology, the facility has the capacity to process up to 7 tons of raw materials daily. The plant includes production and administrative buildings and has created 18 new jobs. The initiative aims to increase the production of import-substituting products and process local raw materials into final goods.
In addition to industrial growth, the President commissioned 10 social and service facilities, including 55 kilometers of roads and bridges funded by local entrepreneurs and residents rather than the state budget. This includes a 16-kilometer road in Safedob village and various asphalt roads in villages such as Astona, Saforud, and Gijovak. These infrastructure improvements are intended to enhance transportation, improve access to services, and create better living conditions for the local population.
