President Erdoğan receives Turkish Women's National Volleyball Team

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan received the Turkish Women's National Volleyball Team at the Presidential Complex following their consecutive titles at the 2026 CEV Trendyol European Volleyball Championship. The team, which secured gold in Istanbul, also celebrated their championship success at the Mediterranean Games.

Also in attendance were Minister of Youth and Sports Osman Aşkın Bak and Turkish Volleyball Federation President Mehmet Akif Üstündağ. The meeting also included members of the Turkish Men's National Volleyball Team.

The year 2026 has been marked by significant achievements for Turkish volleyball, including titles in the Nations League, the Mediterranean Games, and the European Championship. Additionally, Turkey has secured qualification for the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games.
