President Erdoğan stops convoy to greet disabled youth in Samsun
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan stopped his convoy in Samsun to personally greet Emre Vural, a young man with a physical disability. The encounter occurred in the Atakum district following the opening ceremony of the Samsun City Hospital.
Vural, who had previously met the President in 2018, described the spontaneous moment as unforgettable. After spotting the presidential bus, Vural requested to wave to the convoy, leading to eye contact with Erdoğan. The President ordered his driver to stop the bus and exited the vehicle to speak with Vural and his mother, inquiring about their well-being.
Vural expressed his gratitude for the gesture, noting that the President’s willingness to stop and engage with a citizen on the road was a deeply sincere and honorable act.
