President José Antonio Kast attended the national Evangelical Thanksgiving service, known as the Tedeum Evangélico, at the Evangelical Cathedral in Estación Central. The ceremony marks the beginning of the traditional Fiestas Patrias celebrations in Chile.

During the service, Bishop Héctor Cancino del Valle addressed the nation's current challenges, specifically citing security concerns, economic crisis, and a loss of universal values. He called for the reconstruction of hope and unity, stating that the current state of polarization and distrust does not make national rebuilding impossible.

The event was attended by high-ranking officials, including Senate Vice President Iván Moreira, Supreme Court President Gloria Ana Chevesich, and various military and diplomatic leaders. Following the ceremony, President Kast described the event as a spiritual moment of reflection and emphasized the need for the country to move forward together through unity and reconstruction.
