President Luis Abinader will lead a series of inaugurations on Thursday across three provinces. In La Vega he will open Expo Vega Real 2026 at the Country Club. In Bayahibe, La Altagracia, he will deliver a modern complex and detachment for the Dominican Navy. In La Romana he will inaugurate a new campus of the Instituto Tecnológico de las Américas (ITLA), a sports complex, and will lay the first stone for water‑supply projects serving Caleta, Romana Oeste and Vista Catalina. He will also attend the 125th‑anniversary commemorations of La Romana’s founding. The agenda, announced by the presidency, is part of a broader effort to boost infrastructure, security and economic development in the north‑central and eastern regions of the Dominican Republic.
