President Pezeshkian emphasizes educational justice and literacy reform
Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian addressed key educational issues during recent meetings with education officials. At the 29th meeting of national education heads, Pezeshkian emphasized the importance of educational justice, particularly for students in disadvantaged regions. He noted that the government must address the needs of all social classes to ensure true justice in the education system.
In a separate meeting regarding the Literacy Movement Organization, Pezeshkian discussed the potential restructuring, merger, or dissolution of the entity. He stated that any decision must be based on deep study and global successful models to prevent overlapping responsibilities among various organizations. Pezeshkian highlighted the potential of mosques, schools, and health centers to improve public literacy levels, suggesting a neighborhood-based approach to education. He also stressed that resource allocation should be strictly tied to effective performance and clearly defined human resource structures.
