President Prabowo Subianto convened a limited meeting at the presidential complex in Jakarta with ministers and agency heads, including Higher Education Minister Brian Yuliarto, Investment Minister Danantara Rosan Roeslani, and BP BUMN COO Dony Oskaria. The discussion focused on strategic issues for universities, the need for data‑backed policies, and the proposal to establish Universitas Republik Indonesia, which the education minister declined to endorse.

At a separate Youth Forum event, PAN youth cadre Rizki Aljupri highlighted the administration’s broader development agenda that pairs high economic growth with environmental sustainability. He cited President Prabowo’s 2025 presidential regulation enabling waste‑to‑energy facilities in 33 cities and the ongoing plan to build 100 GW of solar power capacity, underscoring the emphasis on clean energy and waste management as pillars of national policy.
