Prabowo Subianto reviews URI leadership program in Hambalang

President Prabowo Subianto held a closed-door meeting with the Governor of Universitas Republik Indonesia (URI), Retired Marshal Donny Ermawan Taufanto, at his residence in Hambalang, West Java. The discussion focused on the progress of leadership education and training programs managed by URI.

Key updates included the status of 384 participants in the Presidential Program for Future Leaders (P3MD), who are scheduled to begin internship programs in January and February 2027. The meeting also addressed the expansion of URI's physical infrastructure, specifically the progress of a new campus building being constructed in Cikasungka, Bogor.

Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya noted that the development of URI is part of a broader government vision to prepare high-quality, high-integrity human resources capable of national leadership. Several ministers, including the Minister of Higher Education, Science, and Technology Brian Yuliarto and State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi, were also in attendance.
