A Puspoll Indonesia survey conducted from 18‑26 May 2026, with a random multistage sample of 2,400 respondents (margin of error ±2%, 95% confidence), found that 64.8% of Indonesians are satisfied with President Prabowo Subianto’s performance. The figure combines 57.9% who are "quite satisfied" and 7.9% who are "very satisfied". Dissatisfaction stands at 33.2%, split between 28.9% somewhat dissatisfied and 4.3% dissatisfied. The survey indicates a decline from the August 2025 level of 67.7%.
Puspoll director Chamad Hojin highlighted the downward trend, while Gerindra spokesperson Bahtra Banong reiterated the approval figure and pointed to the administration’s actions against tax evasion and under‑invoicing in the natural‑resource sector as part of its response to global economic uncertainty.
