President Sergio Mattarella to attend Il Volo’s “Concert for Italy” in Pordenone

The Italian trio Il Volo will headline the closing “Concert for Italy” of the Pordenonelegge 2026 festival on 20 September. The performance is scheduled for 19:00 at Teatro Verdi in Pordenone and will be accompanied by the Zenith Orchestra under maestro Edmondo Mosè Savio.

President of the Republic Sergio Mattarella will be present at the event, which marks the finale of the 27th edition of the Festa del Libro e della Libertà. The concert will be projected onto the theatre façade and streamed on large screens in the historic centre, creating an open‑air arena for the whole city. Organisers say the evening also serves as a preview of Pordenone’s role as Italy’s Capital of Culture in 2027.
