President Siljanovska-Davkova meets citizens in Skopje

President Gordana Siljanovska-Davkova met with citizens at the People's Office in Skopje to discuss personal issues, successes, and institutional concerns.

During the meetings, citizens raised several critical points, including difficulties and injustices in employment processes where political or family affiliations are reportedly prioritized over professional competence. Other participants highlighted the neglect of the specific needs of persons with disabilities and their exclusion from decision-making processes. Additionally, some expressed frustration regarding the lack of interest from state and local authorities in utilizing the expertise of citizens with proven knowledge.

Siljanovska-Davkova explained the powers of the presidency and the role of her Cabinet in relaying citizen proposals, ideas, and initiatives to the relevant authorities. She shared her views on the issues raised and emphasized the openness of the People's Office to facilitate broader debates on matters affecting the public.
