President Sisi honors Egyptian students for global technological achievements

Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi honored several students for winning international competitions in technology and engineering during the conclusion of the Egypt Forum 2026.

Two students from the Dakahlia Governorate, Saja Mohamed Abu al-Enin Shaaban and Lujain Faraj Abdel Moneim, received recognition for securing first place and a gold medal at the Robot Challenge held at the Beijing University of Science and Technology in China.

Additionally, students from Ain Shams University were honored for their global successes. The ASU Racing Team from the Faculty of Engineering achieved first place in the Artificial Intelligence (AI Driverless) category at the Formula Student competition in England. Furthermore, students from the Faculty of Computers and Information won first place globally in cloud computing at the Huawei International ICT Competition held in China.
