President Tô Lâm meets with Stanford Business School Dean

Vietnamese General Secretary and President Tô Lâm met with Professor Sarah A. Soule, Dean of the Stanford Graduate School of Business, in New York City. During the meeting, President Tô Lâm emphasized the importance of cooperation in three key areas, specifically focusing on leadership development for management and business executives.

President Tô Lâm highlighted Vietnam’s goal of becoming a high-income developed nation by 2045, noting that science, technology, innovation, and high-quality human resource development are essential drivers for this growth. He expressed particular interest in Stanford’s priorities regarding artificial intelligence (AI) and the necessity of maintaining human core competencies, such as creative thinking and decision-making, in an era of rapid AI advancement.
