President Tinubu commends Governor Lawal and NTA reappointment

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has praised Zamfara State Governor Dauda Lawal for his administration's impact on the state. In a birthday message for Lawal's 61st year, Tinubu described him as a “Renaissance governor” and highlighted achievements in infrastructure, urban renewal, and industrialization.

The President specifically noted Lawal's interventions in the social sectors, including the rehabilitation of over 800 schools, the recruitment of more than 2,000 teachers, and the upgrading of hospitals and medical equipment across Zamfara.

Separately, the Kwara State chapter of the Arewa for Asiwaju (A4A) group has expressed support for the President following the reappointment of Abdulhamid Salihu Dembos as Director-General of the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA). The group characterized the decision as a reward for professionalism and competence. A4A also used the occasion to commend National Security Adviser Nuhu Ribadu and Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq for their respective roles in the administration.
