President Tinubu congratulates Senator Basheer Lado on 60th birthday

President Bola Tinubu has congratulated Senator Basheer Lado, the Special Adviser on National Assembly Matters (Senate), on his 60th birthday. Tinubu described Lado as a dependable public servant and an accomplished legislator.

Lado previously represented the Kano Central Senatorial District in the 7th National Assembly and served as Vice Chairman of the Senate Committee on Works. His career includes roles as Federal Commissioner at the National Commission for Refugees, Migrants and Internally Displaced Persons, and Director-General of the National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP).

The President noted Lado’s contributions to fostering relations between the Executive and the Senate, as well as his humanitarian work through the Ladon Alheri Foundation, which focuses on education, healthcare, and economic empowerment.
