President Tinubu honors NAN head Ali and Pastor Kumuyi on birthdays

President Bola Tinubu congratulated Ali Muhammad Ali, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), on his 60th birthday. In a statement by the President’s Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, Tinubu praised Ali’s leadership, noting his role in strengthening the agency’s news gathering, professional networking with multilateral institutions, and efforts to curb misinformation.

The President also issued a birthday commendation for Pastor William Folorunso Kumuyi, General Superintendent of the Deeper Christian Life Ministry, on his 85th birthday. Tinubu described Kumuyi as a “remarkable servant of God,” highlighting the pastor’s five‑decade legacy, influence on millions worldwide through the Global Crusade with Kumuyi, and the ministry’s impact on families and communities. Both messages emphasized the individuals’ contributions to Nigeria’s media landscape and spiritual life.
