President Tinubu honors Nigerian leaders Hamma-Adama Ali Kumo and Ayo Opadokun

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has issued tributes to two prominent Nigerian figures marking significant birthdays.

He extended felicitations to Hamma-Adama Ali Kumo, also known as Dattuwa, on his 55th birthday. Tinubu described Kumo as a patriotic leader and a dedicated public servant who has strengthened the All Progressives Congress (APC). Kumo currently serves as the Chairman of the Governing Board of the Industrial Training Fund (ITF) and holds the position of Deputy National Financial Secretary of the APC.

Additionally, the President joined other leaders, including General Abdulsallam Abubakar and Senator Gbenga Daniel, in celebrating veteran pro-democracy activist Chief Ayo Opadokun on his 80th birthday. Tinubu praised Opadokun’s role as a former Secretary-General of the National Democratic Coalition (NADECO) and his contributions to the struggle against military dictatorship in Nigeria. The President noted Opadokun’s unwavering commitment to the rule of law and federalism throughout his political career.
