President Trump suggests Russia-Ukraine conflict is nearing an end

President Donald Trump stated during an appearance in Iowa that the conflict between Russia and Ukraine is approaching an end. He noted that while the specific manner of the resolution is less important to him, he anticipates that oil prices will drop once the conflict concludes.

U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio emphasized that the conflict can only be resolved through negotiations. Rubio indicated that the United States is prepared to act as a mediator to facilitate discussions between the parties, noting that a dedicated team is working to find solutions to bridge existing disagreements. He stressed that without both sides sitting at the negotiating table, a resolution remains unlikely.
