President Yamandú Orsi travels to New York for UN General Assembly

Uruguayan President Yamandú Orsi has traveled to New York to address the United Nations General Assembly on Thursday, the 24th. His itinerary includes a meeting with UN Secretary-General António Guterres and a discussion with Google Vice President Karan Bhatia.

Orsi is also scheduled to meet with the presidents of Paraguay and Bolivia as part of the Urupabol alliance, and will hold an interview with Chilean President José Antonio Kast regarding organized crime. His agenda includes dialogues with investment funds and the artificial intelligence sector.

Domestically, Orsi attended a lunch organized by the Asociación Rural del Uruguay (ARU) and held a brief encounter with Álvaro Delgado, president of the National Party, during the Expo Rural del Prado. The ARU addressed recent controversy regarding a United Kingdom embassy stand at the expo, stating that they follow commercial rules and remain sensitive to Argentina's position regarding the Falkland Islands.
