Presidente Prudente advances rainwater gallery reconstruction

Reconstruction work on the rainwater gallery on Avenida Tancredo Neves in the eastern zone of Presidente Prudente has entered a new phase. The replacement of the gallery, construction of inspection wells, and backfilling of the area have been completed.

Work is now focused on micro-drainage recomposition, including storm drains and connection branches, as well as grass planting and pavement recovery on Rua João Elias Naufal. The project involves replacing approximately 230 meters of the old underground structure with concrete pipes two meters in diameter at a depth of about 10 meters.

The intervention aims to permanently resolve a large crater that formed due to broken underground pipes, a problem that had persisted for nearly three years. The project, executed by Noromix Concreto S/A, represents an investment of R$ 3.8 million, funded primarily by the state government with a R$ 20,000 contribution from the local municipality.
