Presidente Prudente announces waste collection phase and job openings

The Companhia Prudentina de Desenvolvimento (PRUDENCO) and the City of Presidente Prudente have announced the second phase of the ‘Mutirão Cata-Treco 2026’ waste collection program. Starting October 19, teams will collect discarded items such as old furniture, appliances, and sanitary ware from various neighborhoods, including João Domingos Netto and Brasil Novo. Residents are instructed to place items in front of their homes during specific windows; however, construction debris, organic waste, and tree pruning materials are excluded from the service.

In a separate development, PRUDENCO has opened a public recruitment process for two positions: one collector and one driver. The driver position requires a category D driver's license. Applications are open until November 2, 2026, via the CONSESP website, with exams scheduled for November 15, 2026. Salaries for the roles range from R$ 1,675.47 to R$ 2,636.72.
