Presidente Prudente mother organizes toy donation campaign in memory of son

In Presidente Prudente, São Paulo, Maiara Lourenção has transformed her personal grief into a community action. Following the death of her three-year-old son, Pedro, in March, Lourenção organized a campaign to collect toys for vulnerable children.

To honor her son's memory for Children's Day, the initiative successfully gathered over 700 toys. Lourenção, a municipal servant, stated that the decision to act was made alongside her mother to channel her loss into a positive gesture for those in need.
