Presidents Cup features strategic pairings and patriotic rookie displays in Medinah

The Presidents Cup is currently underway in Medinah, Illinois, featuring a strategic battle between the United States team and the International team. The tournament format allows captains to engage in a ‘chess match’ during pairing announcements, where captains alternate selecting players, enabling the opposing side to react and counter with specific matchups.

Among the participants, U.S. rookie Jackson Koivun, a captain’s pick by Brandt Snedeker, has drawn attention for his patriotic equipment. Koivun is using wedges decorated with American flag motifs, stars, and a reference to the Toby Keith song ‘Courtesy of the Red, White and Blue.’
