Presidents Cup rosters finalized for Medinah Country Club event

The rosters for the 2026 Presidents Cup, scheduled for September 22–27 at Medinah Country Club, have been finalized. Jackson Koivun has been selected as a captain’s pick for the U.S. team by Brandt Snedeker. At 21 years old, Koivun is the youngest U.S. player selected for the event since Jordan Spieth in 2013. His selection follows a strong professional debut, including a victory at the 3M Open.

On the International team, captain Geoff Ogilvy faced difficult decisions regarding roster selections. Ogilvy noted that having a PGA Tour card provides a competitive advantage due to the familiarity players have with the American circuit and locker room environments. Despite strong performances on the DP World Tour, players like South Africa’s Casey Jarvis were not selected for the squad.
