Presidi Educativi launches @work internship project for youth with disabilities

Presidi Educativi, a social enterprise based in Policoro, has launched the @work project to facilitate labor market inclusion for young adults with disabilities. Supported by the Fondazione Intesa San Paolo, the initiative began offering internships on October 5 to four young adults.

Participants have been placed in various local businesses, including a supermarket in Nova Siri, an optical shop in Policoro, a sports association, and a social cooperative. Project leaders emphasize that these internships aim to dismantle social stereotypes and promote personal growth and community accessibility through direct professional experience.
