Presley Gerber dies at Santa Monica rehab facility

Presley Gerber, the 27-year-old son of supermodel Cindy Crawford and businessman Rande Gerber, died following an apparent overdose at the Resolutions Living facility in Santa Monica.

Reports indicate that Gerber’s sobriety team contacted the facility on the afternoon of September 19 to ask if the center could admit him while he was under the influence of substances. Staff reportedly instructed the team to bring him in regardless. Gerber arrived at the residence after 6:00 p.m. and was pronounced dead the following morning, September 20, following a call regarding cardiac arrest and an overdose.

Questions have been raised regarding the facility's protocols, as Resolutions Living operates as a sobriety residence rather than a medical detoxification center. Footage recorded by Gerber the night before his death shows him in his shared living quarters at the $7.7 million facility. Gerber had a history of struggling with depression and opioid addiction.
