Press & Sun-Bulletin shifts home delivery to U.S. Postal Service
The Binghamton-based Press & Sun-Bulletin is transitioning its home delivery service to the U.S. Postal Service. This move follows a trend among Gannett publications, with dozens of other papers having already switched to postal delivery in recent years.
A corporate spokesperson stated the change “affects only a small number of subscribers and is intended to ensure more reliable delivery,” though the company declined to specify how many customers will continue to receive morning delivery.
In other regional news, the New York State Police Troop C reported weekly activity highlights for Broome, Tioga, Chenango, Delaware, Cortland, Tompkins, and Otsego counties. Additionally, a new restaurant is expected to occupy the site of the former KFC on Main Street in West Binghamton following its abrupt closure.
