Preston North End eye Ligue 1 striker Kevin Carlos

Preston North End are reported to be preparing an official offer for 25‑year‑old Spanish forward Kevin Carlos, who is under contract with OGC Nice until 2030. Carlos joined Nice in January 2025 but has failed to score in Ligue 1, registering only two goals in Europa League matches and none in 23 league appearances. Nice aim to cut wages and recover part of the €6 million fee paid for him last year, making his sale a priority. The English club, looking to bolster its attack ahead of the new Championship season, view Carlos as a potential solution despite his recent poor form.
