Pérez Scremini Foundation holds charity runs in Uruguay

The Pérez Scremini Foundation has organized a series of 5K and 10K runs across Uruguay to support children and adolescents undergoing cancer treatment. These events aim to fund personalized, integral, and free medical treatments for patients nationwide.

A recent edition in Montevideo saw a historic turnout of over 8,000 participants, making it the largest race in the country. The event included the ‘Pasarela de los Valientes’, an emotional segment where patients and their families were cheered on by thousands of participants. The initiative received support from the Agrupación de Atletas del Uruguay, various corporate sponsors, and local institutions.

Additional activities have been scheduled in Punta del Este, featuring routes along the coastal area to encourage community involvement in the fight against childhood and adolescent cancer.
