PRF concludes safety operation on BR-010 with no accidents

The Federal Highway Police (PRF) has concluded Operation Romaria Senhor do Bonfim 2026 on the BR-010 highway in Natividade, Tocantins. The operation, which focused on the stretch between km 206 and km 240, reported no accidents during the period of high traffic associated with the festivities.

During the operation, authorities inspected 341 people and 205 vehicles, conducting 176 breathalyzer tests. Identified infractions included 38 instances of failing to use seatbelts, 19 irregular overtaking maneuvers, 32 refusals to take breathalyzer tests, and two cases involving children without proper restraint devices. The PRF maintained a presence in the region for over 450 hours to provide traffic guidance, escorts, and preventive policing.
