The Brazilian Federal Highway Police (PRF) launched the 2026 National Traffic Week with a seminar focused on road safety along the Bioceanic Route. Held in Campo Grande, Mato Grosso do Sul, the event brought together authorities and specialists to discuss mobility and inspection within this cross-border logistical corridor. The Brazilian Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasized that road safety in the Bioceanic Route is a priority, aiming to foster cooperation between Brazil and neighboring countries.

In other international developments, the deadline for non-binding privatization proposals for at least 75% of Azores Airlines has arrived.
