Morena and PRI mobilize across Mexico to strengthen political structures
Political movements in Mexico are actively organizing across several states. In Quintana Roo, Morena founder Rafa Marín led assemblies in Chetumal and Cancún, calling for internal unity and the defense of national sovereignty. Marín emphasized the importance of maintaining the social programs and infrastructure investments established during the previous administration while supporting President Claudia Sheinbaum’s stance on non-subordinate cooperation with the United States.
In Tamaulipas, Morena supporters in Altamira held an assembly to reaffirm their support for President Sheinbaum and the defense of sovereignty against foreign interference. Local leaders highlighted the municipality's status as an Economic Development Pole for Well-being.
In Oaxaca, the PRI (Institutional Revolutionary Party) has launched a new organizational structure called ‘Defensores de México’. The party recently swore in over 170 members who will be stationed across federal, local, and municipal districts to oversee electoral processes. State PRI president Carmelita Ricárdez Vela called for the movement to combat corruption and crime while defending the interests of the people.
